PSI13.1.13 - Withdrawal from Service: General - Contracting-Out Interaction with PSO Requirements

The OPB's contracting-out requirements are explained in JOM 77 (as amended). Appendix A to that Memorandum indicates the main circumstances in which our requirements interact with those for contracting-out. With particular regard to early leavers, this occurs:

1. in relation to mixed benefits (see Section 2 and 3 of this Part), and
2. where the benefit is secured by "buying-out" or "assignment" of a policy (see Section 4).
