If the factors cannot be accepted under
PSI8.2.41, check whether the scheme
gives post-retirement increases on one of the bases in
PSI7.1.4. If post-retirement
increases are not given tell the practitioner that the factors
appear to be excessive and ask them to explain the interest and
mortality assumptions used.
