PSI6.4.13 - Total Benefits on Retirement at Normal Retirement Age: Pensionable Remuneration and Final Remuneration - Scheme Rules

All our requirements in relation to final remuneration should be reflected in scheme rules, usually in the definitions. For guidance on the wording which is acceptable, refer to the Standard Conversion Packages A or B or to the latest edition of the specimen Inland Revenue Limits Rules, PS123. (The restrictions in respect of associated employers and connected schemes can, alternatively, be dealt with by restricting the conditions for membership, so that the situations described in PSI6.4.9and 6.4.10 cannot arise.
