If you oppose a reduction

• write to the employer or employee giving your reasons
• send copies of your letter to the Employer Unit and Debt Management Office.

If the employer or agent does not accept your refusal, refer to EIS any further approaches the employer makes. Tell the Employer Section and Debt Management Office what has happened.
