PAYE93031 - Reconcile individual: end of year reconciliation: work item 238 - manual work item - reconciliation
Work item 238 is a generic work item that can be created manually. PAYE110080 gives information about how to create a work item.
You will only need to create a work item where there is
- No other work item open for the issue you are working
And
- You need to take further action and there is information outstanding that you need to complete the action
When dealing with a work item 238 that has been created for the reason ‘Manual Merge Case. CY Reconciliation Required after 5 April’, refer the case with an accompanying memo to NICO PAYE Merge team, see SPD 45.
You must also make a manual Contact History note (see PAYE105016).
