PAYE79040 - PAYE operation: targeted review forms: function RI: issue and receipt of review forms

You can use Function RI to

• Issue a CY-1 review form in-year, that is, outside the bulk issue
• Record the issue of a manual form
• Note the receipt of the completed form
• Amend the record of forms issued and received

The screen shows details of forms issued and received for the previous seven years up to and including CY-1 or, if the taxpayer's record was set up later, the details from that date.

There are no entries for years after the year when the taxpayer permanently ceased employment or died.

For each year shown

• A date or BULK appears in the ISSUE(D)? column if the taxpayer's record shows that a return / review form was issued
• A date appears in the RECEIVED? column if the taxpayer's record shows that a return / review form has been received

The MANUAL field relates to the CY-1 year only, it shows

• Y where a form R40 was issued manually after bulk issue
• N or a blank for a review form issued automatically
