PAYE71035 - PAYE operation: aspects of PAYE operation – taxpayer: function TT

Officers of any grade can use COP Function TT. By entering a code, a week or month number and total pay to date, you can see the

• Free pay
• Additional pay (K codes)
• Tax due according to the Tax Tables

The function does not access any taxpayer records, and the calculation is not retained after the result is displayed.

Do not use Function TT for

• A year other than this year or last year
• A Week 1 / Month 1 code
• Code FT

To use Function TT you must either

• Enter TT in the Function field in Prime Format

Or

• Use the Next facility

Formats

There are 3 formats including Prime Format in this function. They are

• Prime Format - used to start the transaction
• Format 1 - used to enter details for the calculation to be made
• Format 2 - to see the tax due according to the Tax Tables
