Note: In deceased cases the Deceased indicator is not automatically set on the taxpayer record

1. Use TBS Function AMEND TAXPAYER DESIGNATORY DETAILS to record the date of death on the taxpayer’s record
   
   
2. Set the MCOTP signal
   
   
3. Pass the information to an appropriate officer to issue form R27 to the personal representative of the deceased at the last known private address (if not already issued)
