PAYE68050 - employment maintenance: movements browser: work list - P45(1) rejections

Once the forms P45(1) captured on the browser have successfully passed through pre- processing they will be processed by the current batch functions utilised by EDI and FBI.

All forms that are successfully processed at this stage will update the COP record, but where the COP record cannot be updated, the P45(1) details will be rejected and appear on the P45(1) Rejections Work List.

This Work List will contain rejected forms P45(1) submitted by EDI, FBI and those you have captured on the browser.

When a Work List item is created the reason(s) for the rejection will be shown at the top of the form. You will need to correct all the reasons for rejection before you resubmit the form.

One of the following rejection messages will be shown when a record cannot be noted as a leaver.

• Data from the employer is invalid or incomplete
• The NINO is missing or invalid
• No taxpayer with this NINO can be found at the reference shown
• No taxpayer can be found with a matching name at the reference shown
• The matching record is not for the latest employment
• The matching record found already shows a date of leaving
• There is an unprocessed transaction for the sub source record
• There is uncleared electronic mail for the sub source record found
