PAYE63020 - employment maintenance: filing online: employers: local office reorganisations

It is important that employers who participate in online submission of Employment Maintenance forms by Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or Online Return & Filing – PAYE (ORPF) are notified of local office reorganisation changes.

These procedures also apply to normal bulk scheme transfers.

You must ensure that IMS, Electronic Business Unit (Shipley) are advised of a Local Office reorganisation involving an employer who submits Employment Maintenance forms automatically, so they can advise the employer of office and employer reference changes. Failure to notify employers of these changes may mean a rejection of online data which may cause delays to Employment Maintenance (and other) processes.
