PAYE62080 - employment maintenance: employment changes: how to cancel a P204

Anyone with the appropriate access can use Function MX to cancel a P204 record.

You can use Function MX when you are dealing with one or more of the following forms

• P44
• P45(3)
• P46 Statement B

You cannot use Function MX to cancel a P204 record where the screen shows you there is un-cleared electronic mail on that record.

To use Function MX you must

• Enter MX in the FUNCTION field in Prime Format

Prime Format – used to start the function

Format 1 – used to cancel a P204 record
