PAYE61120 - Employment maintenance: create employment: work item 17 - P46 box B - no live primary - secondary exists unexpected code

Work item 17 is created when a form P46 class B is processed, the individual’s record has no primary employment but does have a live secondary employment for an employment which does not match the P46.

The form P46 class B will not automatically create a period of employment on the individual’s record as the code on the secondary record may need to be reviewed.
