PAYE60086 - employment maintenance: employment starters: taxpayer ceases self employment (Action Guide)
To deal with a taxpayer that ceases to be self employed,
follow steps 1 - 3 below.
For details of how to access any of the COP and TBS functions
use the [Index of Functions] button on the left of the screen.
- Use TBS Function FIND TAXPAYER first then COP Function TI to
find the taxpayer record
- Treat the employment as a P46 Statement B
- Use Function MS (Class 2) to create a main source record
- Should you require information from the Processing Office responsible for the self employment it should be requested by eform
