PAYE29030 – employer records: monthly control lists: forms P35 received for which no P228 issued

Each Processing Office will receive this Monthly Control List from the Data Centres. The list is normally produced on the first Thursday of each month and will be received by you shortly afterwards.

This Monthly Control List contains employer references for which a return has been recorded as received but not captured.

It is not restricted to employers who file form P35, but contains employer references for which any type of return is appropriate.

The extent of your review depends on the month to which the particular list relates.

In peak periods (May - July) you will only need to review work items relating to tax years prior to CY-1. You do not need to review work items relating to CY.
