When you receive notification of an additional contract
follow steps 1 - 4 below. This Guide is presented as follows

Initial action
- Prepare a subfolder for the additional contract
- Place the notification and any supporting papers within it
- Make the following entries on the outside of the subfolder
- Scheme reference number
- Name of Taxed Award Scheme
- Name of contract
- Date the contract was signed
- Date the contract expires
- Mark the subfolder prominently ‘Additional
Contract’
- Retrieve the employer related electronic file for the Taxed Award Scheme
- Note the additional contract on the list of additional contracts within the file (or prepare one if this is the first additional contract)
Final action
- Use Function AMEND EMPLOYER NOTES to record your actions and then file the papers in the employer record pad
