PAYE104115 - taxpayer records: citizen identification record: taxpayer name on COP
TBS displays the name in a 35 characters field. Name updates
made in TBS are passed to COP. Where the name on TBS exceeds a
maximum of 28 characters it will appear in a truncated form on COP.

When it is necessary to enter an abbreviated name in TBS
Function AMEND TAXPAYER DESIGNATORY DETAILS, consider the need to
further truncate the name for display in COP
- Agree with the taxpayer, if possible, an abbreviated name and enter this in the appropriate name field
- Make a note of the unabbreviated name in COP ENOTES
