PAYE103020 - taxpayer records: maintain COP record: COP function TA - setting and deleting signals
To set a signal using COP Function TA
- Enter the signal in the Signals field
Where more than one signal needs to be set
- Leave a space between each entry
To delete a signal
- Enter [N] after the signal abbreviation
If the signal abbreviation contains a date or year
- Enter [N] after the date or year
You
cannot delete the following signals using COP
Function TA
- ABROAD
- DECD
- DOB
- MCOTP - Whilst the Decd signal is set
- RLS
- In these circumstances you will need to use Taxpayer Business Service (TBS) Function AMEND TAXPAYER DESIGNATORY DETAILS
- PCESS
- This can only be removed using COP Function MA
- CONCARD–AT (IN FILE)
