PAYE100020 - taxpayer records: COP records: prime format
Anyone with the appropriate access can use Prime Format to
access specific functions used to view or amend records for
taxpayers or employers. Prime Format will also appear on the screen
when you
- Complete any function
Or
- Suspend any function
Prime Format is used to start a function. If you are already
using a function you can get into another function by using the
‘Next’ field.
Only nominated officers who hold a security badge can use
certain COP Functions. If an unauthorised officer tries to use any
of these functions the message ‘Security Badge’ will be
shown on the screen.
There may be a message about the case shown at the top or
foot of the screen. It may be a reminder or it may tell you
something you did not know about the case. Note any messages before
you decide what to do next.
