Exceptions Or Inhibition Signals (Info)
If an exception or signals that inhibit finalisation are set, this will be displayed on entry to the Function CAPTURE RENEWAL DECLARATION.
The following inhibition signals can be present
- 'Complex claim'
- 'Claim under enquiry'
- 'Under Appeal'
Note: From 27/10/2008 JSA will mean either JSA or ESA
Or
- 'Application Inhibited'
Complex claim is a renewal with details of
- More than 18 children in the family
- Claimants who are exempt from immigration control for Working
Tax Credit (WTC) only or Child Tax Credit (CTC) only
- Tax credits claimants receiving income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and working 16 hours or more a week
Send all Complex Cases to the European Economic Area (EEA) Team for their action.
Claim under enquiry is where there is an open compliance enquiry for the year to which the Annual Declaration relates.
Referred to SCO is where the claim is currently referred to the Special Compliance Office (SCO).
Under Appeal is where there is an open appeal against any Notice issued for the Award Period to which the S17 relates.
IS, JSA / ESA, PC is present in this application is where the claimant has IS, JSA, ESA or PC in the year to which the S17 relates.
An Inhibited case is where an inhibition signal has been set for the year to which the S17 relates.
