| 1 | If you receive an Annual
Declaration between 1st February and 5th April
- Do not scan the Annual Declaration in the RDC machine

| 2 | Pass the Annual
Declaration to the Netherton staff for them to check if the Annual
Declaration has an attachment?
- If the Annual Declaration has an attachment, go to step 3
- If the Annual Declaration does not have an attachment, go to
step 4

| 3 | Sift the Annual
Declaration and the attachment. Follow the guidance in
Sifting TC603D At
Netherton
Then

| 4 | Check if the
1st Specified Date (1SD) has
passed. To do this
- Use Function VIEW S17 DETAILS
- Enter the claimant’s
NINO in the Key Entry Data
screen
- Select the All
checkbox
- Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Select S17
Period screen
- Click on the relevant claim year to highlight it
- Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Current
Position screen
- Click on the [Details] button under the S17 Notices field. You
will be taken to the Issue Details screen
- Make a note of the 1SD in the Key Dates field
- If the 1SD has passed, go to step 5
- If the 1SD has not passed, go to step 6

| 5 | Complete form TC648
- Make a note that the 1SD has passed and record the
following
'Annual Declaration received from 01 February to 05 April'
- Attach this to the Annual Declaration
- Send the form TC648 and the attached Annual Declaration to the
TCO Manage Finalisation Team
Note: Make
sure a received date stamp is on the Annual Declaration
Then
- Use Function MAINTAIN HOUSEHOLD NOTES and select the 'Renewals
& Reminders' category to record the following
'
SW05 - AD recvd from 01 Feb to 05 April TC648 and AD sent to
Manage Finalisation Team'
