Tax credit claimants who believe that they have been overpaid tax credits or that they have been paid tax credits incorrectly into their bank or building society account may return a personal cheque.

Some of these cheques may go direct to the HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) RMS Accounting and Payments Service (A&PS) Cumbernauld.
