Payments Contingency Instructions (Introduction)
The Tax Credit Office ( TCO) has had to put in place contingency procedures until the final functionality is introduced onto the computer in April 2004.
The following contingency instructions will allow you to deal with queries relating to
- Manual payments
- Personal cheques received
And
- Repayments of tax credits to a claimant
You should refer to these instructions before accessing any other relevant area of 'Payments’ until instructed otherwise.
When all the relevant functionality is in place, these instructions will be deleted and you will use the steady state instructions already in the manual.
