Temporary Reference Number (NONO) Spreadsheet For Issuing Healthy Start Vouchers (AG)

To deal with the NONO spreadsheet for issuing Healthy Start vouchers, consider steps 1 to 3 below

1Use Function VIEW APPLICATION
  • Enter the claimant's NINO in the Key Entry Data screen
  • Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Select Application Screen
  • Click on the latest application to highlight it
  • Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Application Summary screen
  • Click on 'VH' on the toolbar menu. You will be taken to the View Application History screen
  • Click on 'Ch' on the toolbar menu. You will be taken to the Children screen
  • If the claim is traced, establish if entitlement to Healthy Start vouchers exists. Follow the guidance in Healthy Start Vouchers
  • If entitlement to Healthy Start vouchers exists in the last 4 to 6 weeks, go to step 2
  • If no entitlement to Healthy Start vouchers exists in the last 4 to 6 weeks, enter 'No Entitlement' in the Ind Award Date column on the spreadsheet. Take no further action
  • If the claim cannot be traced
  • Email the spreadsheet back to originator and ask them to provide the

  • Repeat the actions in this step from the beginning
2Use Function VIEW AWARD
  • Enter the claimant's NINO in the Key Entry Data screen
  • Select the All checkbox
  • Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Select Award screen
  • Click on the latest version of the claim to highlight it
  • Click on the [OK] button. You will be taken to the Award Summary screen

Note: If the latest version of the award is at Statement of Account, look for the latest version of the claim that is at Provisional or Amended

Note: The claims on the spreadsheet will have been awarded within the last 4 to 6 weeks, you are looking for the latest period with continuous entitlement to Healthy Start vouchers

  • Click on the [View Calculation] button. You will be taken to the View Calculation screen
  • Click on the [View Elements] button. You will be taken to the View Elements screen
  • Look for the earliest date when CTConly started to be paid
  • Compare the period of entitlement to the start date given in the Ind Award Date column on the spreadsheet

Note: If entitlement for CTC only exists at the start of the tax tear, for example 06/04/05, check the previous year for any entitlement that runs up to this date

  • If the start date is the same as the one on the spreadsheet, take no further action
  • If the start date is different to the one on the spreadsheet
  • Enter the start date of CTC only entitlement from the computer in the Ind Award Date column on the spreadsheet

Then

  • Go to step 3
3Save a copy of the spreadsheet to the shared folder

Then
