New Award Notice: Summary (Info)

From the 6th April 2006 the award notice shows a summary of the claimant’s award on the front page.

The Summary box shows

• The tax credits due for the period stated at the top of the page. This is broken down into

• Working Tax Credit

• The Childcare element of Working Tax Credit

• Child Tax Credit

• The amount of tax credits still to be paid to the claimant or claimants. This is broken down into

• Working Tax Credit still to be paid and the name of the claimant it is to be paid to

• Child Tax Credit and the Childcare element of Working Tax Credit and the name of the claimant it is to be paid to

The summary is then followed by a brief description of why the award notice has been sent to the claimant.
