Incorrectly Logged Award Notice (Info)

Only signed award notices should be logged onto the computer.

However, a notice that is unsigned may be logged in error. This may occur if an unsigned notice is sorted, mistakenly, into a pile of signed notices waiting to be logged. It will not be possible to identify, on the computer, that this mistake has occurred.

You may either realise the mistake

• Whilst you are processing work at a later stage, for example when amending a change of circumstances

If you notice that an unsigned notice has been incorrectly logged, you must

• Unlog the returned award notice

• Return the award notice to the claimant for confirmation and signature
