The guidance provides the processes to be followed by supervisors and operators, where applicable, in order to carry out a quality check of the operator's work.
Supervisors will be required to carry out quality checks on operator's work both pre award and post award. These checks can take place at three different stages of the claim process. The stages are
- Following the manual capture of the claim
- Following clearance from the 'Incomplete Applications' Work List
- Following action taken on the 'Verification Failures' Work List
