ESA

ESA stands for Employment and Support Allowance. It is a benefit administered by the Department for Work and Pensions in Great Britain and the Department for Social Development in Northern Ireland

It is paid to people who have limited capability for work

There are two separate components. These are

• Income-related ESA

And

• Contribution-based ESA
