Childcare Agencies Registration - Scotland (Info)
The Care Commission for Scotland is responsible for the registration of childcare agencies, nanny services and sitter agencies. Registration was expected to be completed on a phased basis by 1 October 2003.
Some agencies did not make their applications on time. This coupled with delays in processing applications by the Commission, means that some agencies are still not registered. It is expected that the Commission will have completed registration by the end of September 2004.
In these circumstances, you must continue to treat claims that include the childcare element using care provided by the providers listed below as satisfying the requirement for registration.
