Unmatched Change Or Correction (Info)

Notification of a change of circumstances and / or a correction can be made in a number of ways. Follow the guidance in Notifying A Change.
When a change of circumstances or a correction that cannot be matched to an existing claim is received, you will need to
- Identify the type of communication
- Identify the claimant from whom the correspondence originated
And then take an appropriate course of action to resolve the issue by either
- Finding a matching claim
Or
- Filing the correspondence or record of the telephone call in a clerical BF run for 28 days, and then after that period, send it to local storage
