Disability Changes (Introduction)

This section of the Manual provides guidance on what to do when the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or Department for Social Development (DSD) notify you that a claimant or child is entitled to Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance (AA) when

• An award of DLA or AA has been made

Or

• There is a change in the DLA or AA award

This will only apply to cases where an award of tax credits has been notified to DWP or DSD, therefore registering a tax credits interest on the DLA or AA computer.
