Claimant(s) Address Changed To A Non-UK Or Non-European Economic Area (EEA) Address (Info)
There is an Action Guide for this subject, click on 'Next
Page' to access it
You may receive information that a claimant or a claimant and their partner have moved address and are no longer resident in the UK.
If the new address is in the European Economic Area (EEA) you must
- Not attempt to capture the change
Instead
- The change must be dealt with by the European Economic Area (EEA) Team
In any other circumstance, update the following information on the computer
- The address, including the country
- Any contact details
And
- The residency status
Note: It is important that the country is included in all non-UK addresses, otherwise any correspondence may not be delivered
If the claimant no longer lives in the UK, you must create an entry on the ‘Verification Failures’ Work List for the residency criteria to be checked by a Specialist Team
