There is an Action Guide for this subject, click on 'Next
Page' to access it
A claimant may tell you that their
child will be leaving full-time
non-advanced education (FTNAE) or
approved training.
When a child has reached 16 years of age, if the claimant
fails to notify you before the following 31 August that their child
will be continuing in FTNAE, approved training or has
registered
with a qualifying body, payments for that child will
automatically stop.
If the child or
young person is aged up
to 18 years and has left FTNAE and registered with a qualifying
body, you must follow the guidance in
Child / Young Person Left Education And
Registered With A Qualifying Body
