Time-Outs (Info)

When you are using a NTC business service and 30 minutes have passed since your last action, you will be timed-out when you attempt to re-use the function in which you are working. When this happens, you

• Will get a message to show that you have been timed out

• Cannot stop the time-out

• Will lose any details you have entered in the function you were working on

When you click on the [OK] button on the message box

• The NTC business service will close down

And

• You will be returned to your Desktop screen

This means that if you partially complete a function and then leave your computer for 30 minutes or more, the time-out will cut in and the work you have done will be lost.

To avoid this waste of your time and effort, you should try

• To have all of the information you need before accessing the NTC business service function

Or

• Not to allow 30 minutes to pass between actions you need to take in the function
