Date Format (Info)

In some older Revenue computer systems you may not be required to complete date entries in full. For example, the ‘/’ symbol is pre-set and you just need to enter the dates either side of it when making your entry

In the NTC business services all fields requiring a date entry must be completed in full to the following standard

• DD-MM-YYYY. For example, 05-10-1951

Leading zeros and the symbol ‘-‘ must be used. If your entry does not meet the standard, you will be presented with an error message and will have to correct your field entry.
