You may receive a request for a tax credits claim form (TC600)
- In writing
- During an interview
Or
- During a telephone conversation
If the claimant indicates that they need a claim form in Welsh Language, follow the guidance in Claim Form In Welsh Language
Note: The Welsh Language service is not available in Braille
Requests for all other types of tax credits claim forms are dealt with by the Helpline
These include claim forms for the visually impaired
- In Braille
- On audio (tape or disc)
- In large print
The Helpline will give advice on eligibility and entitlement before issuing a claim pack

There is also a text phone / Mincom facility for claimants who are deaf

If a claimant who sent a written request for a claim form cannot be contacted by phone, issue a letter telling the claimant to ring the helpline
