Claim Requests (Introduction)
You may receive a request for a tax credit claim form (TC600)
- In writing
- During an interview
Or
- During a telephone conversation
For the visually impaired the claim form is available
- In braille
- On audio (tape or disc)
- In large print
Any such requests should be sent to the Visually Impaired Media Unit (VIMU).
Similarly a claimant may require the Welsh Language version of the claim form. All such requests are dealt with by the Welsh Service Provider, although the Welsh language service is not available in Braille.

Before completing a claim a claimant may want to know
- If they are eligible
And if so
- What their entitlement will be
You should provide the claimant with any assistance they need to complete the form but do not complete the form for them.
