To deal with cases where a claimant has appealed against a
decision to make an in-year adjustment or cross year recovery,
consider steps 1 - 3 below

APPLICATION
- Go to the Application Summary screen
- Click on the [Full Address] button. The Full Address screen
will display
- On this screen, confirm that the claimant’s latest
address is the same as the one on the letter of appeal
- If the address is the same, go to step 2
- If the address is not the same, note the new address and then
go to step 2

Adjustment Appeals Letter, together with a copy of
- Leaflet COP 26 'What happens if we have paid you too much tax
credit?'

Then
- Use Function MAINTAIN HOUSEHOLD NOTES to record the action you
have taken
