A person has registered with a qualifying body where

  • They have registered with one of the organisations below as being available for work or training

The organisation with which a person can register depends on where they live, but it must be

  • In England and Wales, either
  • The careers service

Or

  • Connexions
  • In Scotland
  • The careers service
  • In Northern Ireland
  • The careers service of the Department for Employment and Learning
  • In the European Union
  • Any similar body

Or

  • The Ministry of Defence
