JSA

JSA stands for Jobseeker's Allowance. It is a benefit administered by the Department for Work and Pensions in GB and the Department for Social Development in Northern Ireland.

It is paid to people who are not in employment but who are actively seeking work.

There are two separate components. These are

• Income based

And

• Contributions based
