Notes
Applies to Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia,
Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia from 1 May 2004.
Applies to Bulgaria and Romania from 1 January 2007.
From 1/6/2002 the EC Social Security Regulations also apply
to Switzerland under an agreement between Switzerland and the EC.
The agreement covers Swiss and EC nationals. Anyone who is not a
national of the EC, or is not a stateless person or refugee living
in the EC, will continue to be covered by the Reciprocal Agreement
between the UK and Switzerland.
The UK is England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland but
not the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
The other EEA countries treat Gibraltar as part of the UK.
The UK treats Gibraltar as a separate EEA country.
Cyprus is the Republic of Cyprus
