Although NIRU are the supervising office for entries made using
Simplified authorisations
IPR20700 and
IPR50000, SIFT and local compliance
teams are responsible for carrying out assurance events on the
entries selected by NIRU for verification.
Following their risk based selection, NIRU will send
requests for verification to SIFT/risk teams. Request should be
dealt with promptly. Where an assurance event is carried out, it is
important that the results of the event are fed back to NIRU. This
feedback is essential to help NIRU evaluate the impact and improve
the quality of their risk assessment and support to local
compliance.
