This is probably most useful in ‘empty file’ cases,
where there is little or no information in the company file and the
director’s personal tax returns are not up to date, as a
pointer to a successor company, or a possible investigation.
If the search is required before the Section 98 meeting
telephone TIDO with the company name, registration number (CRN),
names of directors and secretary. If required after the meeting,
this information can be faxed to TIDO.
