Structure of VAS

VAS is staffed by staff with experience of both Direct and Indirect Taxes and IT systems employed across

• a Voting and Registration Team that responds to and votes on proposals, examines chairman’s reports and initiates revocation applications to Court.
• Monitoring Teams that monitor the progress of arrangements and (with local offices) track post-approval tax return and payments. Red Teams deal with cases received before 29 January 2001 ( INS10409) and Blue Teams cases set up after that date ( INS10405).
• a Post-Monitoring Support Team that pursues with the debtor and supervisor any breach of the arrangement or failure to pay post approval debts identified by the Monitoring Teams.
