It’s worth bearing in mind that the various controls place different administrative burdens on colleagues in OMS, and as in the UK, resources will be limited. When requesting assistance we need to be clear how the control will address the specific risk and why the risk is significant enough to justify the request. Officers also need to consider whether the risk could be addressed in the first instance using UK resources
