Heritage Section is responsible for the review of their own future claims (marked (WA) or (NH)), in respect of works of art, buildings and land of national interest etc. Normally they carry out their own review every five years on the files they set up from the head file. The head file stays in store with a review date 20 years from the date of the deceased’s death, so it is available if necessary.
