ERS is a computer programme linked to the COMPASS assessing
system. It is used to help manage the enquiry work and to record
yield. Yield on all death cases should be recorded on ERS, unless
the file was opened before 1999 To record yield on ERS you need to
enter the values of all adjustments to the estate that give rise to
yield. If your case was opened before 1999 you will not be able to
create an ERS record for it. You should fill in form Unit 3 (
IHTM29102) and send this to the PPT, to
record the yield
