IHTM29072 - Yield: PC&S – where to record yield
Death cases
If you work in PC&S you will use ERS (
IHTM29100) to record any yield that you
get on death cases as a result of your work. You will also need to
record any interest yield. To be able to do this you will need to
register the case as an enquiry on ERS, even though the case is not
being worked as an enquiry (
IHTM29013). You should use ERS to
record the adjustments to yield (IHTM29071) and adjustments to
interest yield (
IHTM29090) and ignore the parts of the
system that relate to reviewing and quality scoring.
The enquiry procedures were introduced in 1999. If your case
was opened before 1999 you will not be able to create an ERS record
for it. Instead you will need to use Unit 3 (
IHTM29102) to record the information
and send this to the Product and Process Team (PPT).
Lifetime & Settlement cases
You should use form Unit 4 ( IHTM29103) to record any adjustments to yield on lifetime and settlement cases and send this to the PPT
