IHTM29035 - Enquiries: changing account amendment work into an enquiry

If you work in PC&S and receive a case for account amendment work ( IHTM08012), and you consider that an enquiry is warranted, you should

• consult your line manager, and if they agree
• refer the case back to the Compliance risk assessors with a note explaining the reason for considering an enquiry to be appropriate

This can be done at any time while the case remains open. If the Compliance risk assessor considers that an enquiry is not warranted they will discuss the case with you to agree the appropriate course of action.
