IHTM08013 - The work of TSB: other work

In addition to the account amendment work ( IHTM08012) TSB will be involved in other types of work. The following provides details of some of these areas of work. This list is not exhaustive.

• Work received in TSB is divided out among the teams/staff by the TSB team leaders in each location.
• TSB provides cover for the IHT Helpline at busy periods and for absences. This work is undertaken on a rota basis, along with colleagues from Compliance Group. Payband D members of TSB staff will participate in this rota.
• All staff are required to answer any telephone within the TSB area whenever the person whose phone is ringing is unable to answer it. Training is given to all staff on handling telephone calls.
• From time to time there will be a need for TSB staff to participate in projects and reviews. Participation in these activities will share knowledge and develop wider experience.
