IHTM32037 - BU dates: spent BU dates

To reduce the chances of confusion and to indicate when dates can be deleted from the ALF (IHTM03000) record, you (or the AA in the case of payment BU dates) should draw a line through each general BU date (IHTM32032) or payment BU date (IHTM32035) that is no longer required. This will be when the necessary review action has been completed or the date shown is no longer considered appropriate.

AAs are instructed to arrange for the removal of a payment BU date from ALF once payment is made. If you cancel an assessment, draw a line through the existing payment BU date relating to that assessment.

Remember that before releasing a file on any occasion, you should always consider whether the BU dates shown on the file cover require amendment.
